Rang Dong’s Water Bottles Enhance Friendship In South Africa
In late November Madame Le Thi Bich Tran, the spouse of Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, brought the gifts including Rang Dong’s water bottles to children in Tsakane, a town in South African province of Gauteng. Her trip was conducted on the sidelines of the Prime Minister’s official visit to South Africa between November 21-23.

The water bottle model BGN045ST1.E from Rang Dong, Vietnam’s leading manufacturer of vacuum flask products, was selected as part of the gifts for South African schoolchildren.
Not only a practical product, the bottles stood out as a symbol of care, sustainability and friendship, reflecting a commitment to health, environmental responsibility and human connection.
When given to the schoolchildren in Tsakane, 55 km (34 miles) southeast of the capital of Johannesbourg, the water bottles carried a message of care from Vietnam, and thus became a bridge connecting people, cultures and shared values.
The choice of the product was not accidental. A water bottle is a daily companion, closely linked to health, learning and everyday routines.
Given as a gift for South African children, the bottles along with other gifts highlighted the role of Vietnamese products in international cultural exchange. Through simple and thoughtful items, values such as responsibility, kindness and sustainability can be shared naturally and sincerely.
Safety, health, sustainability
One of the most important messages behind Rang Dong’s water bottles is the focus on safety and health.
Designed to store drinking water securely, the bottles support daily hydration habits for both children and adults. Safe materials and reliable insulation help maintain water temperature while protecting users’ well-being, making it suitable for school, outdoor activities and daily use.

Beyond personal health, these water bottles also promotes environmental awareness.
Encouraging the use of reusable bottles helps reduce dependence on single-use plastic. As students develop the habit of carrying their own bottles, they take a small but meaningful step toward reducing plastic waste. In this way, Rang Dong’s water bottles support sustainable lifestyles from an early age.
Sustainability is not presented as a complex concept, but as a simple daily action. Using one bottle repeatedly becomes a practical lesson in environmental responsibility. This aligns with global efforts to protect natural resources while educating younger generations about mindful consumption.

The story of Rang Dong’s water bottles in South Africa shows how ordinary products can carry a deeper message. While technology and large infrastructure projects often dominate discussions about international cooperation, small gestures play an equally important role.
A useful gift, thoughtfully chosen, can create emotional connections and lasting impressions.
