Rang Dong Marks 65th Anniversary, Aims For More Innovations

Construction began in 1958, and on February 24, 1961, Rang Dong Light Bulb and Vacuum Flask Factory was established under the government’s Decision No. 003/CNn-TCCB to meet the people’s daily needs and support the national reconstruction after the resistance war again the French. 

The anniversary milestone represents a journey of pride and resilience.  

From producing the very first bulbs that illuminated homes and streets in the early years of independence, Rang Dong has evolved into a high-tech enterprise fully known as Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company, which pioneers advanced lighting solutions and smart technologies. 

Over six and a half decades, the company has consistently embraced innovation, mastering LED technology, Internet of Things connectivity, Artificial Intelligence applications and sustainable energy systems. 

Today, Rang Dong delivers comprehensive smart lighting ecosystems, energy-efficient products, rooftop solar solutions, and connected home devices that enhance modern living while prioritizing environmental responsibility.  

The company now has a distribution network covering the entire country, and its products have also been reaching around 50 destinations globally, including key markets such as South Korea, the United States, the Middle East and European countries.
