Rang Dong Marks 60th Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Visit
Rang Dong, or known fully as Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company, recorded its revenues in the January-March period jumped 32.6 percent from a year ago, putting it well in line with the company' revenue growth target this year.
The Hanoi-based company has projected the annual revenues to rise 32 percent from 2023 to USD 468.1 million. Last year its revenue growth stabilized at 20.4 percent following an annual rise of 21 percent in 2022, which accelerated from 15.9 percent in 2021 and 15.6 percent the previous year.

Event Highlights
On April 27, 2024, Rang Dong held a grand ceremony in Hanoi to mark the 60th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to the company, and also the 20th anniversary of its transformation into a joint-stock company.
Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang, Secretary of Rang Dong's Party Committee and General Director, spoke at the event, highlighting the company's founding in 1961 as one of the 13 factories chosen by the government and President Ho Chi Minh after the establishment of peace in Vietnam's northern region.
Three years later, in the morning of April 28, 1964 President Ho Chi Minh visited Rang Dong and talked with employees, emphasizing the company's mission to produce high-quality, affordable products that benefited consumers and the society.

In line with President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, Rang Dong has grown to become Vietnam's leading manufacturer of LED light and vacuum flask products.
The firm has implemented the "One Axis - Two Wings" model, focusing on human-centered management, scientific research and administration. The model has been behind the company's successful digital transformation.

Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Rang Dong has maintained impressive growth of revenues: 15.6% in 2020, 15.9% in 2021, 21% in 2022, and 20.4% in 2023. Notably, in Q1 2024, the company saw a remarkable 32.6% growth compared to the same period the previous year.
This year marks a significant breakthrough as Rang Dong strives to become a high-tech enterprise leading in digital, green, and renewable energy transformations.
Speaking at the event on April 24, Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang emphasized that it was important to enhance the company's human resources and corporate culture in order to adapt to new challenges and ensure sustainable growth.
