Vietnam’s Rang Dong Integrates AI Into Long-Term Vision

The company, fully known as Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company, announced its development strategy and showcased results of its five-year digital transformation at AT EXPO 2025, an international exhibition held in Hanoi on May 14-16 with focus on automation and smart technology. 

Mr. Nguyen Quan, former Science and Technology Minister and Chairman of the Vietnam Automation Association, delivered the opening speech. 

In his opening remarks, Mr. Nguyen Quan, former Science and Technology Minister and Chairman of the Vietnam Automation Association emphasized the importance of collaboration among businesses, researchers and policymakers to drive innovation and sustainable development. 

Rang Dong's Deputy CEO, Mr. Nguyen Doan Ket, spoke at a forum held as part of the exhibition about the role of digital and green transformation helped by artificial intelligence in building a modern production model. 

Speaking at one of the three forums held on the sidelines of the exhibition, Rang Dong’s Deputy CEO, Mr. Nguyen Doan Ket, briefed on the company’s seven strategic breakthroughs laid out earlier this year for 2025, including full application of core and strategic technologies, and the drive for innovations and production modernization. 

Related to Rang Dong’s comprehensive development orientation, he said the company envisaged the process to be closely attached to technology, AI and sustainable practices in every aspect of production and management. 

The other two forums focused on Vietnam-China’s mining equipment business and the bilateral cooperation in AI, green energy and mechatronics. The forums brought together experts and business leaders to discuss real-world challenges and share experiences in technology applications, smart manufacturing and policy development.
