Mutabbaq in the Arabic language means "folded" and the street food, also known in English-speaking communities as "murtabak", or stuffed pancake, consists mainly of the dough and the meat filling in the Saudi Arabian style. Making the dough requires all-purpose flour, oil, water and salt, while minced meat, green onion, egg, tomato, ginger garlic paste and spices are needed to prepare the meat filling. To complete the preparatory work a flat frying pan is needed.
