Rang Dong, Hanoi Architectural University Weigh Partnership
The discussion was held on April 4, 2025 by a delegation from the university’s Interior Design Faculty during a visit to Rang Dong, fully known as Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company.
The visit was aimed at bridging academic theory with industry practice, giving students practical exposure to cutting-edge lighting solutions as well as laying the groundwork for the university’s future collaboration with Vietnam’s leading manufacturer of LED, vacuum flask products and also the provider of smart lighting solutions.
During the visit, students and the faculty members explored Smart Product and Service Ecosystem Showroom (I-4.0+) of the Hanoi-based company, where they experienced the latest smart lighting systems integrated for homes, offices, smart cities and high-tech agriculture.
The demonstrations provided insights into the development and application of modern lighting solutions in real-world environments.

The visitors gained a deeper understanding of the intersection between interior design and lighting technology, seeing how advanced lighting can enhance spatial aesthetics, functionality and energy efficiency.
The delegation toured Rang Dong’s strategic facilities, including the R&D Center, or the hub of innovation and product development, the Smart Business Operations Center which applies digital management in manufacturing, and the Digital Transformation Center where data-centric business solutions and integration are developed.
Visitors were introduced to Rang Dong’s state-of-the-art manufacturing lines incorporating automated systems, industrial robotics and advanced electronics production. The tour gave a unique glimpse into how digital transformation and Industry 4.0 technologies were being embedded in Rang Dong’s core operations.

During the discussion, Rang Dong’s officials and the university representatives explored potential cooperation avenues, including academic training, applied research, and design innovation.
The two sides discussed the possibility to sign an agreement on a partnership.
