Rang Dong’s Trade Union Congress Sets Priorities By 2030

The 25th Trade Union Congress held on November 19 reviewed achievements in the three-year period ending 2025, elected the new Executive Committee with 13 members and approved the action plan for the 2025-2030 term. The event reflected the strong unity and shared commitment of over thousands of union members toward building a modern, innovative and people-centered enterprise.   

In his remarks, Rang Dong’s Party Committee Secretary and General Director Nguyen Doan Thang outlined three strategic priorities for the Trade Union in the next five years, emphasizing its critical role in the company’s high-tech transformation journey. 

First, the Trade Union will intensify efforts to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers while actively participating in the corporate management. This includes organizing labor emulation movements that encourage practical initiatives to boost productivity and product quality.  

By creating channels for frontline workers to propose improvements, the union aims to turn everyday ideas into tangible gains in efficiency and safety across LED production lines and smart manufacturing facilities. 

Second, building a modern, knowledgeable and creative workforce stands as a core mission. The union will promote continuous learning programs that help employees quickly master emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things  and advanced automation systems.  

Fostering an enterprise-wide culture of innovation remains central, and every staff member should feel empowered to contribute to Rang Dong’s evolution into a leading high-tech lighting and smart solution provider. 

Third, a special focus goes to attracting, retaining, and developing talent through expanded training initiatives and AI application in human resource management. 

Programs will range from technical upskilling workshops to leadership development courses, all designed to nurture high-quality professionals capable of driving both domestic growth and international expansion. 

The newly elected Executive Committee held its first meeting on the same day to assign responsibilities and launch the implementation roadmap for the 2025–2030 term. 

The congress also selected delegates to attend the National Trade Union Congress of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Sector. 

The 25th Trade Union Congress reaffirmed the Rang Dong Trade Union’s determination to walk hand-in-hand with the company leadership in achieving ambitious development goals while continuously improving material and spiritual lives for all employees.
