Rang Dong, Asian Experts Discuss Productivity Innovations

Productivity innovations are key to sustainable growth as they integrate advanced technologies with efficient practices to boost performance and environmental responsibility. In line with the development of these innovations, Rang Dong, Vietnam’s pioneer in energy-efficient lighting technologies, received experts from the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) and the Vietnam Productivity Institute (VNPI), as well as advanced productivity trainees from APO member countries on October 9, 2025. The visit to Rang Dong’s Hanoi headquarters provided a platform for knowledge exchange, fostering international collaboration on raising productivity 

Visitors were introduced to Rang Dong’s ecosystem of 4.0+ products, sustainable solutions and modern production lines, gaining insights into the company’s development of productivity innovations.  

The event highlighted Rang Dong’s role in Vietnam’s productivity landscape, bridging global expertise with local practices to promote efficiency, quality and innovation. 

Advanced Ecosystems 

The APO delegation took a close look at Rang Dong’s productivity innovations and its forward-thinking technologies.  

At Rang Dong’s 4.0+ product/service ecosystem showroom, the visitors viewed a comprehensive display of smart, integrated solutions for lighting, energy management, and industrial applications, demonstrating how Internet of Things and AI enhance operational efficiency.  

Meanwhile, the company’s showroom of high-tech agriculture and renewable energy highlighted the systems designed for precision farming and solar-powered solutions, including rooftop solar panels and energy-efficient irrigation, reducing costs while promoting eco-friendly practices.  

Visitors also toured Rang Dong’s production site, witnessing the company’s automated manufacturing process, including the production of high-efficiency LEDs (170–190 lumens/watt), where streamlined workflows minimize waste and maximize output. 

Fostering Global Collaboration 

Rang Dong officials and the visitors held a discussion in an open, collaborative atmosphere, where they exchanged ideas on best practices for productivity innovations. 

The visitors explored how Rang Dong’s approaches, including lean manufacturing, sustainable energy integration and R&D-driven product development, can be adapted across APO member countries.  

The two sides also discussed issues on implementation challenges, scalability and long-term impacts, which provided trainees with actionable insights. 

The meeting on October 9 strengthened Rang Dong’s ties with foreign  and Vietnamese institutions such as APO and VNPI, opening doors for future partnerships in productivity enhancement and sustainable development.  

Rang Dong’s latest collaboration advances shared objectives, from energy-efficient technologies to high-tech farming, paving the way for a more productive and greener Asia-Pacific region. By sharing real-world examples, Rang Dong contributes to regional goals of improving efficiency and resilience in manufacturing and agriculture. 

Through such visits, Rang Dong not only demonstrates its leadership in Vietnam’s smart lighting, but also inspires global peers to adopt innovative practices.
