Rang Dong Brings Tet Gifts To Central Highland Flood Victims
In late December 2025 a delegation of the Hanoi-based company, fully known as Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company, brought 200 gift packages to the people in Daklak province’s commune of Yang Mao, most of them belong to ethnic minority groups living in remote areas. Last November, flash floods and landslides caused by heavy rains killed 63 people while eight others were unaccounted for in Daklak, 360 km (220 miles) northeast of Ho Chi Minh City. Yang Mao alone suffered from significant agricultural crop losses due to the flooding.
In coordination with the local government, Rang Dong organized a simple yet heartfelt event to hand the gifts to Yang Mao people, helping them stabilize their lives and prepare for Vietnam’s Lunar New Year festival, widely known as Tet.
Each gift package included essential items to support daily needs and preparations for Tet, offering both material relief and emotional encouragement.
The process was strongly facilitated by the local authorities so the aid could reach those most in need.
The gift handing activity in Yang Mao marked the completion of Rang Dong's charitable journey in 2025, reaffirming the company's long-standing commitment to standing alongside communities during challenging times and promoting enduring humanitarian values.
Immediate response
Earlier in 2025, right after the floods receded, Rang Dong swiftly prepared and sent aid via the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local governments.
The company called on employees to join the aid donation in the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance.
Special attention was given to Rang Dong’s staff members affected by the disasters, providing timely aid to help them stabilize their life and return to work. The early assistance ensured essential needs were met during the critical recovery phase.
