Rang Dong Shows Innovative Lighting Technologies to Students

Innovative lighting technologies are bringing significant changes to industries, blending advanced engineering with sustainability to create smarter, more efficient solutions. In line with this development, Rang Dong has recently organized for students studying economics at FPT Polytechnic College to take a look at new technologies, modern manufacturing processes and get career insights. The visit on October 13, 2025 to Rang Dong’s headquarters in Hanoi helped bridge the gap between academia and industry, inspiring the next generation to embrace creativity and contribute to a sustainable future.    

During the visit, students were able to take a deep dive into Rang Dong’s legacy, product ecosystem and its forward-thinking vision.  

From interactive showrooms to advanced production lines to discussions with Rang Dong’s experts, students learnt about the transformative power brought by innovative lighting technologies in shaping industries, from education to urban development.  

They were also updated with details about career opportunity and the practical implementation of innovative lighting technologies. 

Sustainable solutions 

In Rang Dong’s showrooms, students learnt about the company’s development from its establishment to joining the leadership in innovative lighting technologies. 

They were introduced with Rang Dong’s evolution in more than 60 years and its milestones achieved in energy-efficient lighting and technological innovation.  

The company’s 4.0+ ecosystem showroom included a display of advanced lighting systems, with Internet of Things-integrated solutions for over 12 sectors, such as schools, hospitals and urban infrastructure.  

Students also explored automated LED production line, observing how high-efficiency LEDs (170–190 lumens/watt) are crafted for durability and sustainability.  

Rang Dong designs innovative lighting technologies, such as smart LEDs and solar-powered systems, to meet diverse needs.  

These solutions reduce energy consumption by up to 70 percent, enhance operational efficiency, and support Vietnam’s environmental goals.  

The company’s comprehensive services, including custom designs, professional installation and warranties of between 24 and 36 months ensure the products’ long-term reliability, even in Vietnam’s tropical climate. Annual performance checks maintain system efficiency, making these technologies a smart choice for sustainable progress. 

Learning Gap Bridging Role 

The visit went beyond technology showcases, offering students valuable insights into career paths and industry trends.  

Rang Dong experts hosted an open discussion to share the company’s strategic vision for embracing Industry 4.0 and sustainable development, sharing details about technological advancements, brand building as well as the development of human resources.  

The interaction strengthened the connection between academia and industry, promoting a learn-by-doing approach. By exploring real-world applications of innovative lighting technologies, students gained knowledge to complement their studies, preparing them for careers in a fast-evolving tech landscape.
