Rang Dong's First Quarter of 2026 Earnings Gain On Technological Innovation
The after-tax profit of Rang Dong, fully known as Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company, in the first quarter of 2026 rose nearly 16 percent from a year ago to VND 116.57 billion (USD 4.42 million), after a fall of 48 percent in the corresponding period last year, the company’s financial reports showed. The company attributed the profit growth to its application of technological innovation and substantial investment in advanced data systems.
The profit gain in the January-March period came on the back of a net revenue growth of 17.5 percent from the same period last year to VND 1.79 trillion, based on Rang Dong’s financial report published on its website. The company has projected its revenues in the second quarter at VND 1.8-1.9 trillion.
The rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and advanced automation means that any company aiming for sustainable growth must integrate science and technological innovation into its daily operations, Rang Dong’s Deputy General Director Nguyen Doan Ket noted.
Taking this shift allows forward-thinking organizations to optimize resource management, streamline manufacturing workflows, and effectively expand their international business reach amid today’s highly competitive global market.
Rang Dong’s synchronized implementation of digital tools is clearly visible across its entire smart solution portfolio.
The company has been applying advanced technologies to deliver comprehensive solutions for smart homes, smart cities and high-tech smart agriculture, while simultaneously expanding green energy options such as industrial rooftop solar installations.
Mr. Nguyen Doan Ket said that modern technology does not just help Rang Dong create new products, but also significantly enhances its corporate management, improves workforce productivity and optimizes resource efficiency through AI platform deployment, hence raising the overall corporate competitiveness.
In order to support a comprehensive digital transition, the company has built a roadmap divided into specific growth phases. For research and development (R&D) it further allocates approximately 15 percent of its after-tax profits, while dedicating another 7 percent of after-tax profits to its corporate innovation and venture capital funds.
Rang Dong now operates four dedicated R&D centers and maintains active partnerships with 14 universities to train a highly capable workforce that can master core engineering competencies.
