Rang Dong, PMC To Create Smart Building Synergy Across Vietnam
On January 20, 2026, Rang Dong, Vietnam’s leading smart home pioneer, and Property and Management Company (PMC), signed a strategic cooperation agreement to integrate advanced technology into building operations, creating modern, resident-centric living environments across PMC’s vast national portfolio. PMC is a joint venture established in 2009 between VNPT and Japan’s Biken Techno Corporation that manages over 1 million square meters of real estate in the Southeast Asian country.
The collaboration combines Rang Dong’s industrial-scale manufacturing and R&D capabilities with PMC’s deep operational expertise.

By utilizing Rang Dong’s 4-layer integrated service ecosystem, which includes consulting, design, professional installation and 24/7 after-sales support, the two companies would install and optimize building systems for long-term operation.
The synergy focuses on smart lighting and Internet of Things (IoT), installing energy-efficient LED systems and smart sensors at common utility areas, as well as sustainable operation, during which they aim to reduce the total lifecycle cost of equipment through high-quality “Make in Vietnam” hardware and predictive maintenance.

Elevating resident experience
Lying at the center of the agreement is the commitment to residents. Rang Dong and PMC will modernize nearly 250 buildings by introducing digital touchpoints and smart living solutions.
Key initiatives include:
Direct engagement: Residents can interact with smart home technologies through interactive experience booths located in building lobbies.
Digital support: Using Zalo OA (Official Account) channels for faster communication and service requests.
Scalable solutions: The partnership involves a ‘Pilot – Measure – Scale’ approach, ensuring that solutions are refined before being deployed in luxury high-rises and social housing projects alike.

During the visit to Rang Dong’s headquarters, PMC delegation toured modern production facilities, which operate under the ‘Smart - Flexible - Zero Defect’ model.
Rang Dong’s integration of a Digital Operation Center allows for real-time monitoring and control of building systems, ensuring maximum energy efficiency and safety, a crucial factor in the global push for green, sustainable urban development.
