Making delicious traditional Christmas pudding without oven
Christmas won't be complete without a pine tree and cake, which are considered the soul of the party. While there are many types of cakes to celebrate the festive season, Christmas pudding is considered an indispensable cake on every table. Different from other types of pudding, the cake has a soft, moist base, spongy while its taste is delicious sweet and sour. We can make this type of pudding without an oven and here is the way.
Origin
Christmas pudding is believed to bring luck and happiness.
Christmas pudding originated in England with many different names such as pudding, pud or plum pudding. The sweet cake is now popular for Christmas holidays in Great Britain, Ireland and parts of the United States.
In previous centuries, christmas pudding was usually made of herbs, onions, plums, veal, breadcrumbs, dried fruit and spices, but in the 15th century, vegetables and meat were substituted. Until now, it is still customary to put a few peas or coins in the cake with the belief that whoever gets the portion with the object will have good luck for the whole year.
