Rang Dong Pursues Green Energy Transition, Smart Production
Rang Dong has developed its model of smart energy management, combining artificial intelligence (AI) technology with a service–product ecosystem to help reduce energy waste and lower carbon emissions in its operation, Deputy General Director Nguyen Doan Ket told the Vietnam Energy Transition Forum.
The digital and green transformation strategy of Rang Dong, fully known as Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask JSC, is in line with Vietnam's commitment to reaching net-zero emissions by 2050 under the COP26 framework.

The energy transition forum was held on June 25, 2025 as part of the Entech Hanoi 2025, an international exhibition on energy and environmental technology organized by Hanoi’s Industry and Trade Department and the Agency for Innovation under the Science and Technology Ministry.
Speaking at a forum held as part of the exhibition, Rang Dong’s Deputy General Director Nguyen Doan Ket shared insights of the company's energy transition model in AI-powered smart production and the 4.0 product–service ecosystem.
Rang Dong introduced its model of intelligent energy management, combining AI technology and a service–product ecosystem (4.0), developed to reduce energy waste and lower carbon emissions across its operations. This initiative is aligned with Vietnam's commitment to reach net-zero emissions by 2050 under the COP26 framework.

Rang Dong’s strategy is aimed at a dual transformation, namely digital innovation and green transition.
It includes the optimized energy usage across production lines through real-time data and automation, a green product ecosystem offering energy-saving lighting and smart home devices and an AI integration in manufacturing and factory operations to raise efficiency and sustainability.
